We serve a wide array of foundations and philanthropic organizations. Since our structure is lean, we are particularly suited to work flexibly to meet the needs of foundations.

For foundations who are fully staffed, our unique structure offers some interesting opportunities. We can work with your grantees to build their capacity, in particular around issues of social change or scaling. We can also design and support all types of collaborations and public-private partnerships.  Through our experts we add more than process, we ask the right questions and offer ideas to move the collaborative forward. We can help you pilot new approaches or programs or develop a small grants strategy at the grassroots through our network of experts.

For unstaffed or minimally staffed foundations, our list of services can be customized to meet your needs. If you need deep expertise on a specific issue, our organizational partners are issue experts with deep experience at the grassroots. If you have no staff, not enough staff, or inexperienced staff we can manage a program or line of work or help train your staff. We can manage complex initiatives or lines of work.

We can create metrics to measure the performance of projects or we can evaluate the impact of programs. We can work confidentially or with you to publish the results, it’s up to you.

We are experts in working globally and can access networks on the ground through most of the world. We are experts in making grants using foundation funds outside the U.S.
