Grantmaking & Due Diligence
We can make grants and implement and manage grantmaking programs. We can provide the full range of due diligence checks, including tax status, fiscal soundness, good governance, risk, capacity, and fit. For grants made outside the U.S. we also check the USA Patriot Act and other regulatory requirements. We can prepare grant dockets and plan and facilitate board meetings.
Legal & Tax Issues
We do not provide legal or tax advice or set-up foundations, donor advised funds, or charitable trusts. However, we can research these options for you and do have relationships with organizations that provide these services. We work seamlessly with our clients’ lawyers, accountants, wealth advisers or other professionals.
Fees
We are compensated on a retainer, project or on a daily or hourly basis. We can be paid directly on a fee for service or retainer basis or our services can be part of the grants we make on behalf of our clients.
