Each morning, more than a billion people wake up without clean water to drink. Scarcity of clean water poses a risk not only to our health, but also to our food supply, ecosystems, economic growth and security.

Our clients are individuals, families, foundations and businesses using philanthropic or strategic investments to make a positive difference in the world. They may be just starting out or very experienced.

While we work closely with non-profits and NGOs, we do not provide fundraising support for organizations or individuals.

Ideal Philanthropy & Sustainability was founded by Theresa Fay-Bustillos, a philanthropic and business executive, as well as civil rights and human rights lawyer who has successfully worked in the public and private sectors both in the U.S. and around the world.

As a foundation executive, she saw first-hand how difficult it was to get access to good information and to make a difference on issues and in communities. She began to see the importance of leadership and philanthropic effectiveness and the need to think and plan ahead but also in real time. Capacity-building of people and organizations and sound advice and insights based on good information are at the core of this firm.
